London hotels are expensive if you want to stay for a week or two in London.  Instead of checking into a hotel, look

 

for a cozy apartment in the city.  By choosing an accommodation in the heart of the city, you are a few blocks away from interesting sights. 

 

You can rent an apartment with all the amenities you will need for your stay.  You can cook your meals in a well equipped kitchenette and use the fridge, washing machine, TV, and enjoy free WIFI.  Share the rent with your friends and split the rent with them.  The rent becomes affordable when shared with friends.  If you are going to stay for a week or two in London, an apartment is the best choice for your budget travel.
